Acclaimed winemaker Patty Green was an independent soul with an abundant gift for creating authentic, expressive wines. She founded her estate winery in 2000 with business partner Jim Anderson with a particular focus on pinot noir. Today, Anderson, a Maine native, continues that legacy. The Reserve pinot noir is produced from declassified barrels from the winery's numerous single-vineyard cuvees. The result is a seamless blend of multiple premier vineyard sites around the valley including Dundee Hill, Freedom Hill and their own estate vineyard in Ribbon Ridge. This is a perfect introduction to Willamette Valley pinot noir with flavors of both red and black berries enhanced with notes of pie spices and cola. (Gary)
