The gorgeous scenery of the Willamette Valley is home to brother duo, Ryan and Eric Harms, who set out to create their dream artisanal craft winery together. They actually source the grapes for their cabernet sauvignon bottling from the Yakima Valley and Wahluke slopes of Washington State, where conditions are far more favorable for warm weather grapes. They also deftly increase the wine's complexity by blending in some merlot and cabernet franc, resulting in a nicely dense red with notes of spicy black currant and leather, dried lavender and mulberry. Perfect for weeknight grilling of burgers, sausage or your pot of homemade chili. (Jenny)
