Located just a few kilometers west along the coast from San Sebastian in Spain's Basque country, the small 15 acre family winery of Nicolas Ulacia commands a view of the Bay of Biscay from the moist green hillsides. Blending the native red grape hondarrabi beltza (75%) with just a few hours of skin maceration and the white varietal hondarribi zuri (25%) yields a very delicate pink rose with the lightest of notes of wild strawberry and watermelon.
