If you haven’t noticed yet, we are big fans of the imported wine lineup from Mary Taylor. She specializes in finding small producers of authentic wines in wine districts throughout Europe and we have featured several of them over the past three years. This time our spotlight shines on this white blend of native varietals from the Dao region of central Portugal. Expertly produced by female winemaker Lucia Ferreira, the medium-bodied white carries notes of juicy pears sprinkled with pie spice such as nutmeg and ginger. (Gary)
