For fifty years the Abruzzo family has grown grapes on their Piedmont property, but only recently started producing and bottling their own wine. The grape dolcetto and its wines are an everyday pleasure for the locals, even more so when it hails from the revered town of Alba. This bottling, so authentic and pure like a cup of freshly-picked blackberries, is completely unoaked, streaked with bright acidity and finishes dry. (Gary)
