Founded in 1987 by wiry winemaker Rollin Soles, Argyle has always been highly-respected not just for Willamette pinot noirs, but also outstanding sparkling and white wine bottlings. Although Rollin has moved on to new projects, the winery’s mission continues. 100% estate-grown chardonnay from both the Eola-Amity Hills and Dundee Hills districts spends eight months in French oak (only 10% new) resulting in a friendly style with apple, lemon and pineapple notes on a sleek, vibrant frame.
