The Antinori family has been making wine in Central Italy since 1385, and have branched out to create magnificent vermentino on the Tyrrhenian coast as of 1996. Bolgheri’s microclimate favors the vermentino grape and adds a noticeable freshness and sea breezy mineral character to the wines. This white shows a bright, limpid, pale straw color and delicious notes of lemony white pineapple, green melon, fruit salad (those green grapes in particular), and a refreshingly maritime bitter zing that would pair perfectly with oysters on the half shell or shrimp boil.
